The hotel was an enjoyable base for enjoying an incredibly beautiful area, so close to the bustling river bank, all the Main Sightseeing, and the restaurants along the river. The staff were superbly friendly, had a great attitude. There was a huge variety of food for breakfast, including fresh bread, granola, pastries, and yoghourt. Very central location was a plus.

The location was convenient, just next door to nearby restaurant that was hard to find, and the Douro river and easily accessible. Also, the hotel was relatively near an ornate church.
